The Autostore Pallet Base Management (PBM) Module enables your warehouse operator to keep a running total of all types of pallet bases in use within the warehouse.

Autostore PBM manages:

  • Bases used when stock is received
  • Bases used in pallet-slaving
  • Bases used when stock is despatched, including multiple-base usage when building unit-pick pallets
  • Bases used as dunnage - dunnage details may also be transmitted as part of the despatch notification to the Host ERP System
  • Ad-hoc maintenance of totals to allow for the receipt and despatch of bulk quantities of bases

The module also allows for the configuration of:

  • Multiple different bases to be used throughout the operation
  • Base size to be taken into account in storage algorithms

Pallet base details and balances may be held against a stock-holding client of the warehouse both for single and multi-client operations.
