Autostore's Workstation Picking Module (WPM) supports Goods-to-Man operations. Autostore directs all totes movements, co-ordinates their delivery from the mini-load through to a workstation and provides clear instructions for the workstation operators.
The workstation picking consolidation functionality within Autostore enables efficient picking of commonly required stock items for all running orders - ensuring both accuracy and high-picking productivity.
After delivery to the workstation, the directed pick-and-put is performed under the control of Autostore with positive confirmation via Autostore's workstation screen. If the tote is not empty, Autostore will return the tote back to the mini-load racking.
